Claypotts and Dryburgh Driving School are one of the few driving schools within our area to offer full time, highly graded and very experienced  Automatic driving instructors.  Modern automatics are a world away from what they once were.  Namely, slow unresponsive cars with very poor fuel consumption.  In fact, the ultra modern autos like we use (Fully Electric & Hybrid) are often better on fuel as they have such clever technology that they will go up through the gears earlier thereby reducing emmissions etc.  In fact, out electric car is charged from our solar panels & battery storage system reducing output even further.

 
If you like the idea of automatic just bear in mind one wee thing.  If you pass the ''L'' Test in an automatic then you are only legally allowed to drive an automatic vehicle.  If you pass in a manual then you are permitted to drive either.  For many people, this will make no difference but its worth bearing in mind.  If you''re an experienced driver (manual), then there is no test, but we can help with any conversion in town driving open road etc.
