We can now offer intensive courses for people in a hurry! All the courses are run on a one to one basis and are designed as much as is possible around your own requirements. There is no set minimum number of hours, but you have to be realistic based on any previous driving experience you may already have. The best advise we can offer is this, this type of course is not for everyone. Due to high demand, these courses are not always available, but please call to check availability.
As an example, if you took 25 hours of professional lessons within the last 12-18 months, then you may get to the required standard within a similar amount of hours training or even less depending on where you are. If , however you started your mum''s/boyfriends car up once 3 years ago then obviously its going to take a bit more!
This is why you have to be honest with yourself and your own abilities to learn in general. You will be under more pressure whilst learning, you will need your theory passed within the last 2 years and you need to make yourself fully available during the timeframe chosen.
Suggested hours:
If you have no hrs experience driver training : 40 hrs intensive £call
If you have up to 10hrs previous driver training: 30 hrs intensive £call
If you have up to 20hrs previous driver training: 20 hrs intensive £call
When possible, we would suggest a 2 hour pre-intensive assessment lesson. This gives both you and the instructor a more accurate picture of what is needed. The above is just a guide to help you budget things reasonably closely.
The above is our rule of thumb and is approximate. The hours you require can vary up or down and the instructor would will appraise you frequently of your progress and any further hours you might need.
